Banana and Peanut Butter Smoothie

Here is a wonderful recipe for a delicious Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie. It is a simple recipe that will make your taste buds love you. If you like peanut butter and like bananas, you’ll love this recipe! The taste is very similar to what you would expect from a banana split. You can even use your Homemade Blender Peanut Butter.

Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie
 
Ingredients
  • 1 full ripe banana, quartered and frozen
  • ½ cup nonfat milk
  • ¼ cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • 1½ tablespoons creamy, natural, peanut butter
  • 1 Cherry (optional)
  • Whipped Cream (optional)
  • Shaved Chocolate (optional)
Instructions
  1. Simply place the banana quarters, nonfat milk, nonfat yogurt, and peanut butter into the blender and blend until you have a nice smooth consistency.
  2. You may want it a little crunchy, or you may want it extra silky - blend until you reach your desired consistency.
  3. Pour into your glass and top with whipped cream, shaved chocolate and cherry!
