We have a super quick and super easy milkshake recipe for you today! Mmm Strawberry-Banana Milkshake! Who doesn’t love a good milkshake? This recipe is one of my favorite shakes to make. You can alter the ingredients to fit your taste buds. It only takes a few minutes to whip up this delicious Strawberry Banana Milkshake Recipe.

Easy Strawberry & Banana Milkshake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp. strawberry preserves
  • ⅔ c. milk
  • Optional - Fresh Strawberries
  • Whipped Cream
Instructions
  1. Peel Banana and place unpeeled banana in the blender.
  2. Add the Ice Cream, Strawberry Preserves (and a few fresh strawberries if you wish) and Milk.
  3. Blend until you have reached your desired consistency. I like it smooth.
  4. Want thicker? Use a little more ice cream.
  5. Once blended, place into glasses and top with whipped cream and a fresh strawberry.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups (450 g) frozen unsweetened strawberries
  • 2 cups (480 ml) coconut water
  • 1 lime, peeled
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) raw agave nectar
  • 2 cups (480 ml) ice cubes
Instructions
  1. Place ingredients into blender
  2. Blend until you reach desired consistency

Please take into consideration that this recipe is made for the Vitamix 5200 Kitchen Blender. If you are using a different blender you will need to alter the instructions to work with the blender you have with regards to the variable speeds and possibly the time needed to process and reach the desired consistency. *Note: This recipe has been written for the Vitamix 5200. If you are using a different Vitamix machine, you may need to make adjustments to the Variable Speed and/or processing time.

  • 1 1⁄2 cups loosely packed spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1 small orange, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 3 cups cashew or nondairy milk of your choice
Instructions
  1. Place ingredients in blender
  2. Blend until you reach desired consistency

Place all ingredients in a blender –may I suggest the Waring MX1000 — and blend on high until smooth. Pour into glass or travel container and enjoy!

  • ¾ Cup Vanilla Flavored Soy Milk

  • 1 Small Fresh Peach, Sliced
  • Fat Free Whipped Cream (optional)
  • Cherry (optional)
Instructions
  1. Place ice cream, fresh strawberries, frozen strawberries, peach slices and milk into blender.
  2. Blend the ingredients until desired consistency is reached.
  3. Pour into large glass - top with fat free whipped cream.

I like the Kitchen Aid KSB560ER for this recipe, but of course and blender will do.

Strawberry and Banana Fruit Smoothie

  • 1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vanilla yogurt
  • ½ cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons honey or to taste
  • Fat free whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
  1. Add 2 cups of frozen strawberries, 1 frozen - peeled and sliced banana, 1 cup of milk, ½ cup of vanilla yogurt, ½ cup of orange juice and (optional honey) to blender.
  2. Blend until desired consistency is reached.
  3. Pour into glass, top with fat free whipped cream.
